Fascial Stretching Therapy (FST) is a pain-free modality used to increase range of motion, relieve pain, tightness, and increase athletic performance. FST is an assisted stretching technique that is performed by a Certified Fascial Stretch Therapist. The stretching takes place on a treatment table with comfortable straps to stabilize the part of the body not being worked on. This technique is using combinations of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) as well as traction. Pain is never allowed and considered a negative response. The therapist will combine different techniques from the joint capsules in waves of movements targeting multiple angles to release, relax, and stretch the tissues and fibers.

What should I wear for my first appointment?

  • Please wear comfortable workout gear or loose clothing, socks, and for men wearing shorts we recommend wearing compression shorts underneath.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

  • Please be sure to hydrate well 24 hours prior to your appointment.  Your fascia is a tissue, the more hydrated you are the better the tissue will move

Is this covered under my insurance?

  • Unfortunately we cannot accept Insurance, however we do accept Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts.

What is the difference between a level one and level two therapist?

  • Our level two therapist have been trained to access the body deeper and are able to apply different movement patterns that remove scar tissue, improve Range of Motion (ROM) and muscle activation more efficiently.
